A 33-mile float trip on National Scenic River-designated Black Creek can begin from several landing sites. Outdoor enthusiasts take advantage of more than 100 miles of hiking, ATV, horse and bicycle trails and almost a dozen recreational sites; most are classified as primitive, although some have water and restrooms. The Turkey Fork site at Chickasawhay is developed and includes electricity.
