DESTINATION

Mount Vernon

Daffodils bloom from mid-March to early April, tulips during the first half of April and irises in early May. Maps pinpointing the location of various flower fields and dates of festival events are available from the chamber of commerce. The chamber also houses a visitor information center.

Tulip season coincides with April's Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, celebrated the entire month throughout the Skagit Valley with display gardens, exhibits, food, fairs and shows. Among the largest display gardens are those at Tulip Town and Roozengaarde.
