During the summer months, a variety of free concerts are performed Thursdays and Sundays at the Guy Chase Myers Memorial Band Shell. The city also serves as a base for visitors to Charles Mill Lake and Pleasant Hill Lake recreational areas, Mohican State Park and Malabar Farm State Park, all of which lie in towns within 20 miles south of Ashland.
