Saint John's Abbey and University is south of I-94 on CR 159. The Benedictine monastery and university campus, along the shore of Lake Sagatagan, features a church, library, science center and other buildings designed by Marcel Breuer. The Hill Museum & Manuscript Library, 2835 Abbey Plaza, holds a large collection of medieval documents and books. The Abbey-University Church, noted for its distinctive contemporary design, features a 112-foot bell banner.
