Cedar Falls

More than 80 miles of recreational trails connect locations throughout the city. A water trail also is available. Developed recreational facilities are available at George Wyth Memorial State Park. More than 2 miles of hiking and cross-country skiing trails traverse the forest, marshland and meadows of Hartman Reserve, on the banks of the Cedar River.

The Cedar Falls Historical Society operates four museums with limited hours; phone (319) 266-5149.

Self-guiding Tours

A guide with information about self-guiding bicycle trails is available at the tourism and visitors bureau. Brochures detailing the city's outdoor sculptures and a driving tour of Black Hawk County's barn quilts also are available.
