Three kilometres (1.8 mi.) south of town at 25 Benjamin Rd. E. is St. Jacobs Factory Outlet Mall with name-brand stores carrying clothing, shoes, linens and china.Thursday and Saturday 7-3:30 (also Tuesday 8-3, mid-June to late August), shoppers can hunt for foodstuffs, handcrafted items, clothing and housewares at the St. Jacobs Farmers' Market, just 2 kilometres (1.2 mi.) south at Weber St. and Farmers' Market Rd. On market days, mid-April through October, horse-drawn trolley tours transport visitors to a nearby Mennonite farm; phone (519) 747-1830. From early May through October, there also is an outdoor market on Sunday across from the St. Jacobs Farmers' Market.
