Most park roads and facilities are open to visitors from mid-May through early October, as long as the weather permits. From early October until late April, food and lodging options are limited within the park and most roads are closed to wheeled vehicles.
The only road open year-round for vehicles is the 60-mile stretch between the North Entrance at Gardiner, Montana, and the Northeast Entrance at Cooke City, Montana.
