They are undeniably touristy, but also terrific fun. Accessible: recall frosty stares from two American matrons when the waiter picked up their table with his teeth and began dancing around with it - a Greek speciality! Shows usually begin at about 10 or 11, and generally cost a few thousand drachmae, which will include a fixed-menu meal, but not wine. Other tavernas simply offer a few Greek musicians, and a more relaxed Greek atmosphere.
