They are usually performed in the original language with Greek subtitles added, but check first as some may be dubbed into Greek. In summer the conventional cinemas are augmented by temporary outdoor cinemas, set up on waste ground, in car parks and on rooftops. You will see signs for these as you walk around, and will certainly hear them if you pass by during an early performance; late-night shows have to turn down the volume level.
