Greek music is more varied than that, and a good way to get a feel for it is to visit the Museum of Greek Musical Instruments and then go into the museum shop to examine the enormous range of CDs, LPs and books on sale. In the Monastiráki flea market there are several specialist record shops, with a particular emphasis on 1960s and 1970s music, from the popular to the obscure. You will find a good selection of vinyl as well as CDs.
