Virginia St. The Silver Legacy is one of three interconnected properties—the other two are the Circus Circus Reno Hotel & Casino and the Eldorado Hotel Casino—that collectively form the core of downtown's casino scene. That means you can stay at one hotel, circulate among three casinos and never leave the building. Silver Legacy's casino has an open layout and high ceilings with Venetian-style decorative accents, and there's a distinct lack of neon throughout. Plush leather chairs in front of the slots may persuade you to hunker down a bit longer than you had planned to wait for that big payout. Thrifty gamblers can find blackjack tables offering a minimum starting bet of $5, and the dealers in general are friendly and knowledgeable. The Silver Baron Lounge has lots of video poker machines and is also conveniently located beneath the lofty dome and enormous Mining Rig contraption that dominate the casino floor.
