Linn County Historical Museum is 6 blks. w. of the US 69 bypass at 307 E. Park St. This museum depicts the history of early Linn County through photographs, artifacts, documents, murals, period-room settings, an old general store, a renovated 1880 depot, antique cars, a genealogy library and video presentations. Visitors also learn about Civil War events that occurred in the area. The museum distributes pamphlets and maps dealing with Pleasanton and all of Linn County. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
