Kodachrome Basin State Park is 9 mi. s.e. on Kodachrome Rd. This 4,000-acre park contains striking, unusual rock formations that seem to change color—depending on the time of day and weather conditions—from gray and white to various shades of red. About 10 miles beyond the park entrance via Cottonwood Wash, a dirt road, is Grosvenor Arch. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
