Bahia Honda State Park is on US 1 at mile marker 37. Clear blue ocean and gulf waters and soft-sand beaches provide the setting for a host of activities, including boating, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling, bicycling, fishing, swimming, picnicking and camping. The park has earned acclaim for its three picturesque beaches. The Sand and Sea Nature Center features sea life displays, nature videos, an aquarium and children's activities. A short nature trail leads to the Old Bahia Honda Bridge, which has spectacular views of the island and the Atlantic Ocean. . Pets are prohibited on beach. Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
