WVU Jackson's Mill State 4-H Camp is about 4 mi. n. on US 19. In 1921 Jackson's Mill became the first state 4-H camp in the nation. The 523-acre site includes an amphitheater, livestock pavilions, gardens, recreation facilities and hiking trails. The WVU Jackson's Mill Farmstead is on the grounds. The site also is the setting for the Lewis County Fair and the West Virginia Storytelling Festival.
