The Barn Museum is 2 blks. n. of US 6. Henry Moore, a local woodworker, built more than 200 miniature buildings during his lifetime and displayed them on two floors of an old horse barn. Each replica in the mini-Americana collection took an average of 6 months to create. Town exhibits depict late 19th-century Amana, other Iowa villages and farmsteads. An audio tour by cellphone is available. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
