• VIN Etching: We etch the Vehicle Identification Number into each piece of glass on the vehicle and place a decal on the driver side window alerting potential thieves to the fact that this vehicle has been protected with VIN Etching. This is a theft deterrent because thieves can not sell parts that have a VIN number etched into it. Many insurance companies offer premium discounts for having VIN Etching performed on your vehicle. Dealerships offer this service at a cost of several hundred dollars.
• Battery & Electrical System Check: We have ASE Certified Master Technicians on sight to test the battery and compare the rated Cold Cranking Amp capacity to the actual tested Cold Cranking Amps and determine if the battery is healthy or heading toward failure. We test the starter to ensure it is not pulling more current than necessary. We also test the alternator to determine if it is working properly to maintain the battery's state of charge. This is a $29.95 to $39.95 value offered at no charge.
• Child Safety Seat Inspection: We have Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians on sight to check child seats for proper installation in the vehicle and proper child placement within the seat. We also check the model number on the seat to determine if the seat has been involved in a recall or any other safety campaign. The child seats are thoroughly inspected for damage, wear, and/or any other safety concerns.
