We checked into this hotel and turned in early, around 9:00 p.m. because we had a long flight. We heard in the room above us sounds like children running and jumping off the bed. Of course, we didn't know for sure what was going on, but the pounding from the ceiling continued. We tried to wait it out, but around 11:00 p.m., I had had enough and went up to complain. The person manning the desk was devoid of any sense of customer service. He was more concerned about how he was handling me than handling the problem--he claimed he was being professional. All he did was keep his cool and do nothing for us. He claimed that the noise we were hearing for two hours was just people checking in--right now! And no matter how I phrased this or how I tried to explain that this is not from people checking in right now, but has been going on for two hours, he ignored me. He asked me what he should do--why is he asking me for action? He should know what to do. When I told him he should go and investigate the noise, and ask kindly the other customers to quiet down. This can be done kindly and professionally, but he was not interested in helping me. I went back to my room, and the noise continued for another 45 minutes. We were on a Yellowstone vacation and stayed at 5 hotels during the course of our stay. The Baymont was the worst. On our last night we stayed at the Days Inn across the highway from the Baymont. I would highly recommend them over Baymont: quiet, friendly responsive staff, clean room.

This is the worst place we ever stayed. We asked for quiet room & was put right by the stairs with people bouncing luggage up & down constantly. They were also in bad area with homeless people on one side of property. Very scary place. Breakfast was a joke with no hit food. Other places with complimentary breakfast had hot food along with cold items. Very expensive & definitely not worth the money considering area, homeless people worthless breakfast items. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
