Best Western Plus Richmond Airport Hotel

Unacceptable There was no hot water, and we found a beer cap and 2 loose screws in the chair.

Edward is the only staff employee that goes out of his way to be helpful! None of the other staff were courteous and some more involved with being on their cell phones then doing their job! Cleaning staff were parking their vacuum cleaners in the middle of the hallway, as I had to move one against the wall to get by with the luggage cart. Management definitely needs training help and common courtesy help training for the rest of the staff!

The mattress was too firm

Stayed 2 separate nights 4 days apart. Con- Rooms had a stuffy smell; no ventilation in the bathrooms so that floors became wet and it took at least 15 minutes for condensation to disappear; 2nd stay - one room had an excessive leak from the air conditioning that covered half the floor and it took management more than an hour to take action. They eventually changed the room. Hours later the floor in our second room became wet from water that leaked from the adjacent room and almost ruined our luggage on the floor and we also had to change rooms. Night driver transporting us from airport to hotel was rude by staying on his phone from pick up to hotel and never once spoke to us even upon arrival at hotel. Check in staff on 1st stay was inexperienced and apparently did not know what to do so it took about 15 minutes to check us in. Would have changed hotels between 1st and 2nd stay if time had permitted. Pros - Front desk staff was courteous, water in shower was hot and soft. Morning driver was excellent. Breakfast selection was very good.
