AmericInn Fort Dodge is a nice property. The room was spacious and was perfect for my two-week stay for work. The entire hotel from what I could see was clean and well kept. The only issue I had was the microwave in my room quit working and it took an extra day to get it taken care of by the staff. I was very pleased with the free hot and cold breakfast selections. I was also pleased that housekeeping was done more than just once a week as is the case with many hotels these days. The lobby had a very homey feel to it, with the stair case, fireplace, cozy chairs and just an overall warmth. If I have to come back for work, I will stay here again for sure. It was definitely more convenient to get to and from work compared to the other hotels on the west side of town.
