'Sapporo' is one of the best Japanese beers, and the first brewery in Japan was established here in 1876. On the site of the original brewery there is now a museum and a beer hall that serves beer and hearty foods. The speciality is 'Ghengis-Khan Barbecue', a sort of Mongolian hotpot, and there are also 'all you can eat for a set price' deals.
