This once housed the Ghent zoo which has left some traces behind. Although this is the least known and the smallest park in Ghent it is perhaps the quietest and the most attractive. Moreover it is surrounded by the lovely houses of Hertstraat and Hofstraat. Students often come here to study in the peaceful surroundings during examinations, there are ducks swimming on the pond and dogs bring their masters here for a walk.
