Valid for three days, it offers free travel on public transport, visits to museums, 50 per cent reduction on guided tours and varying discounts at a number of places, from baths to shops, restaurants to the airport minibus. On sale at tourist information bureaux, hotels, travel agencies, museums and major BKV ticket offices, it costs 11 € for adults and 8 € for children under 14.

Opening Times

Most shops are open from 10 to 6 Monday to Friday and 9 to 1 Saturday with grocery stores and supermarkets open from 8am.

Credit Cards

While most credit cards are accepted in Budapest, never take it for granted. Always carry sufficient cash with you.
