This endearingly named street in the Castle District has the distinction of the only row of houses in the area to run in a north-south direction. The façades are later additions, but the courtyards, the ground floors, the gateways with their recessed benches, and the cellars, are authentically medieval, and well worth seeing. This is a place where you can literally step into the past - but do it in a gentlemanly way.
