This intimate and homely museum was built on the foundations of three medieval houses in the early 1700s. On the left are three rooms used by the Museum of Catering Trades, where an entire 19th-century cake shop has been relocated, with pastry kitchen and all the old equipment. Unlike many museums, the staff here are most helpful and personable. It's only a pity they can't re-create that gorgeous smell of freshly baked bread.
