MONEY

The monetary unit of Hungary is the euro (€), a currency shared by 25 other European Union countries. The euro id divided into 100 cents (¢). The denominations of euro bills are 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500. There are coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50¢ and € 1 and € 2.

Travellers' cheques and convertible currency can be changed in banks, post offices, travel offices and hotels, and credit cards are in increasing use, but by no means everywhere.
