Right on the edge of the Anafiótika district is the area's largest church, built in the 11th century. It was once part of the Palace of the prominent Rangavas family (which became Ragavas somewhere along the way), and indeed this whole area was once called Rangavas. If you look closely at the southeast side of the building you will see that it incorporates columns and other stonework from the Acropolis.
