AAA East Tennessee's professional travel counselors can provide you with timely and accurate information on the best routes to get to your destination. Whether you are looking for the fastest route or the most scenic, a personalized, easy to follow, routing can be prepared to make sure you get the most out of your trip.
Each routing contains mileage information, toll road information and areas under construction. There are suggested through routes for each major city you are driving through.
For over 90 years, AAA has provided the latest information on lodging facilities, AAA discount rates, attractions and points of interest through the AAA TourBook ®. Each lodging and restaurant listing is inspected annually by AAA's professional staff and rated from one to five diamonds. This allows you to pick the rating that best meets your needs. CampBooks provide information on campsites throughout the U.S. and Canada. Currently AAA publishes 11 area CampBooks. Each listing includes location, rate information, recreation and facilities available.
Similar to the TourBook ®, these special books contain information on a single city with titles being selected from 15 top U.S. and Canadian destinations. Destination guides are great when you are only traveling to one location.
AAA offers over 100 City maps and over 40 state, regional and national maps. AAA maps designate information such as scenic byways, toll facilities, rest areas and other useful information for when you are on the road.
International Driving Permits are accepted in 130 countries. The IDP is a legal document that translates U.S. driver's information into eight foreign languages. When traveling in a foreign country, the IDP is a recognizable form of identification and can prevent time delays, fines and
can help overcome language barriers.
To obtain an IDP, you must present a valid U.S. Drivers license, be 18 years of age and have Two passport size photos. The cost is $10.00 for the IDP.
Passport Photos are available at all of out AAA East Tennessee offices. Photo's are taken and developed as you wait. Each photo consists of a set of color 2 by 2 photos.
Passport photos for AAA plus members are free up to 4 sets, then $6.00 per additional set.
AAA basic members are $6.00 per set.
Non Members are $10.00 per set.
Passport applications can be obtained at any of our AAA offices.
