We published the first course outline for high school teachers
in 1935. It was called Sportsmanlike Driving. Now called Responsible
Driving, the textbook is in its 12th edition, with more than
a million copies sold since 1980.
Today, AAA is still a leader in developing driver education
programs and materials. AAA publishes a wide range of textbooks
