* AAA PLUS service is an upgrade to your current membership coverage and does not cover pre-existing disablements. AAA PLUS is not active for use until your permanent PLUS membership cards are received. Upgraded membership cards will be mailed within seven to ten business days. New Members are active for AAA BASIC service immediately and are entitled to AAA PLUS service upon receipt of their permanent card. Please note that PLUS memberships will not be available for Roadside Assistance privileges for at least 7 - 10 business days after purchase.
** New members are entitled to utilize all AAA services and products immediately upon the join date with the exception of roadside assistance. Roadside assistance benefits activate upon receipt of your permanent AAA membership card(s). Membership cards will be mailed within seven to ten business days after the original joining date. Should a new member require roadside assistance during this interim period, a service fee of $35.00 per event will apply at the time of placing the roadside assistance request. This service fee will include all roadside assistance benefits associated with the AAA Basic membership plan. All optional membership rider benefits are active upon receipt of permanent membership cards only.
