BlueOptimum (Most Popular)
A preferred provider organization (PPO) plan with copays covering in-network services such as office visits and urgent care.  Choose from seven deductible levels.

BlueValue (Value Priced)
A PPO plan with a mix of copay and coinsurance cost sharing, and flexibility of fixed generic prescription copays.  Choose from seven deductible levels.

BlueEssential (Low Cost)
A low cost PPO plan with basic coverage and copays for three primary care physician (PCP) office visits per year.  Choose from seven deductible levels.

BluePortfolio (HSA Compatible)
A qualified high deductible PPO plan for use with a health savings account (HSA).  Choose from three deductible levels.

BluePreferred (Classic Plan)
A PPO plan that includes copays for certain in-network services, including physician office visits, urgent care, and prescription medications from retail pharmacies.  Choose from seven deductible levels.

BlueSecure and BlueSecure Plus (Includes Maternity Benefit)*
Two options for a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan.  Copays apply to many covered services.  Primary Care Physician (PCP) referrals are not required for visits to network specialists.  Except for emergencies, all covered services must be rendered by BlueSecure network providers. *  There is a waiting period for this benefit.  Other limitations or exclusions may also apply.

**AAA members may be eligible for a 5% premium rate discount off the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona published rates on the individual health Insurance for those under age 65. BCBSAZ Discounts may vary and may not apply to all plans. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements for BCBSAZ individual coverage including qualifying for coverage under BCBSAZ medical underwriting guidelines. Pre-existing condition waiting periods and waivers may also apply.

Senior Security Plans A, C and F
These plans offer the most flexibility and choice with no "service area" restrictions. You'll have full Medicare supplemental insurance coverage while traveling throughout the United States. Senior Preferred  Plan C
Medicare Select (Available in Maricopa, Pima and Pinal counties only)
With Senior Preferred Plan C, you’ll have lower premiums than with Senior Security Plan C, as well as access to over 11,000 providers in the Senior Preferred network in Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal counties. Because you are not required to have a primary care physician direct your care, you have the freedom to choose any Senior Preferred physician you want to see. Plus, you have no waiting period for pre-existing conditions.

AZ Temp Med (Short Term Medical)
Next day coverage available for any time period from 1-6 months.   Plan comes with features such as a prescription drug card, unlimited re-applications and emergency care when traveling outside the U.S. Online application takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
